1. About JobDirect

JobDirect is a mobile application that aggregates job listings sourced directly from company career pages and presents them to job seekers in India. We provide AI-powered tools including match scoring, resume suggestions, resume tailoring, and career intelligence to help users find and apply for roles more effectively.

JobDirect is a software product operated as a sole proprietorship based in India. We are not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employer. We do not charge companies to list jobs and we are not party to any employment relationship.

2. Eligibility

To use JobDirect, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be located in or seeking employment in India
• Provide accurate information when creating your account

3. User accounts

You can browse and search jobs on JobDirect without creating an account. Certain features — including saving jobs, AI Match Score, resume suggestions, Alfie, resume tailoring, personalised alerts, and your Profile — require a free account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately at jobdirect01@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use JobDirect only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce any job listings or content from the app without our written permission
• Use the app to spam, harass, or mislead other users or companies
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent resume information
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the app or its servers
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

5. Job listings

JobDirect aggregates job listings from company career pages. While we take steps to ensure listings are current and accurate, we do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing
• That any listed position is still open at the time you apply
• That applying to a job through JobDirect will result in an interview or offer

All applications are made directly to the hiring company. JobDirect is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer. We are not a party to any employment relationship between you and a company.

6. AI features

JobDirect offers AI-powered features including match scoring, resume suggestions, resume tailoring, and career intelligence. These features are provided as tools to assist your job search and are:

• Not a guarantee of employment or interview success
• Based on the information you provide and may not reflect all relevant factors
• Subject to the limitations of AI technology and may occasionally produce inaccurate results

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using it in a job application.

7. Subscriptions and payments

JobDirect offers the following subscription plans:

• Free: Available to all users at no cost
• Pro: ₹599 per month
• Elite: ₹999 per month

Subscriptions on iOS are processed securely through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions on Android are processed through Google Play Billing. By subscribing, you authorise the respective platform to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months except as required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

JobDirect also offers Resume Tailor credit packs as one-time purchases, letting you use AI Resume Tailoring a fixed number of times without an Elite subscription:

• Starter Pack: 5 credits — ₹299
• Value Pack: 15 credits — ₹599
• Power Pack: 50 credits — ₹1,199

Credit packs are one-time purchases, do not expire, and are non-refundable once a credit has been used, in accordance with Apple and Google's standard policies for consumable in-app purchases.

8. Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of JobDirect — including but not limited to the app design, code, branding, logos, and AI outputs — are owned by JobDirect and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your resume and profile information. By uploading content to JobDirect, you grant us a limited licence to process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

JobDirect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobDirect and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of JobDirect shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobDirect and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to JobDirect at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at jobdirect01@gmail.com.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of JobDirect shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of JobDirect after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
